MASA

Mushlin Simon Architecture and Management was established by architects Hila Sarah Simon and Eyal Mushlin.

The products of MASA’s unique approach to design vary, ranging from buildings of all types and sizes, to urban plans and visions for new living spaces. Our comprehensive approach combines technical and engineering expertise with knowledge of architecture, construction costs, sustainability and investor and consumer markets. We know what it takes to make the building process successful, a clearly articulated and well-argued business case, with a focus on the long term, materialized on a powerful architectural design and an efficient and reliable execution.

Architecture

The firm focuses on architectural and residential planning, architectural construction and plan No. 38 on all types of buildings for preservation in Tel Aviv and its surroundings.  The planning stages are carried out in an open-dialogue with the client and those involved in the project in order to reach quality and functional planning without compromise, and full realization of the building rights. Every project receives full attention throughout all stages, accordingly.

Management

From a broad perspective and an in-depth familiarity with the planning and execution processes, the firm is involved in the management and supervision of projects as the representative of the client. The process accompanies the formulation of the initial program, the management of the planners ‘ team and the contractors’ tender, close supervision of the execution, the budget and the schedule until final delivery to the customer.

Eyal Mushlin

Co founder

Eyal is an architect and holds a master’s degree in real estate development and management at Politecnico University in Valencia, Spain. He interned at the office of Zvi Hecker in Berlin and Opta Architects in Spain. In his 6 years tenor at Bar Orian Architects, he planned and issued for execution a number of prominent buildings that are part of the urban landscape.

In 2014, Eyal established his own company and has been managing and overseeing a number of new construction projects and building preservations in the heart of Tel Aviv. Project management is carried out professionally and with great dedication for leading entrepreneurial companies in the real estate market. The contribution of knowledge and architectural experience is proven, both in the tender and execution stages. Providing architectural solutions on the ground is a great advantage in the implementation stages. An in-depth familiarity with and control over the planning and licensing processes are an advantage to the authorities and the team of planners in the project.

Hila Sarah Simon

Co founder

Hila is an architect and holds a B-arch degree in architecture at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. During her studies, she was chosen to exhibit at the UIA World Architecture Conference in Tokyo, Japan (2011). She was chosen to exhibit at the Venice Biennale (2013). She won first prize at the HEAD University in Geneva, Switzerland, as part of a student exchange program.  This winning project was showcased at the Berlin Art Week, as well as in the gallery and magazine of Project Ram Architecture.

Hila has extensive experience in urban renewal as part of her work at Bar Orian Architects (2011-2017). During her work she led and managed important projects in the planning and design team in the office, where she was responsible for developing innovative and original design for the office. She has experience in analysing building rights while analysing plans and statutory plans.

Practical engineer

Tal joined MASA in 2018 and has since applied his experienced-based professional knowledge to a range of projects that vary in type, scale, and location, with a focus on multi-family residential projects. While at MASA, Tal has led key projects, including 19 Pinsker , a residential complex - Benjamin compound, 16 Motenfiore and many more . He is also overseeing the renovation and preservation of the historic Building 16 Levontin - Abushdid House.

Tal brings energy to every project which promotes processes. He is involved in all stages of construction in which he provides a solution to every problem.

Aviv Bezalel

Engineer

Aviv uses his technical and engineering expertise to support project teams with effective communication and personalized client service. In his role, he manages relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other representatives, ensuring established goals are met for all.

Prior to his work at Masa, Aviv worked for Electra Construction, where he oversaw the construction of the Amdocs campus in Ra’anana. Aviv brings the knowledge and experience he has gained to every project execution.

External consultant | City Planning and Conservation

Iris Yosif-Or

Iris is an expert city planner in a wide range of urban planning activities with extensive experience in preparing and approving city building plans. Her vast knowledge in urban planning, since 1993, is the result of her long cooperation with leading architectural firms, among them: Kaiser Lekner Architects and Urban Planners and A. Yasky, Y. Sivan, Y. Yasky Architects and Urban Planners. Among Iris’ projects are dozens of city building plans comprising thousands of housing units in cities across Israel.
Iris leads the urban planning of MASA.
